Pamper yourself with authentic local flavors while exploring this small but beautiful country. Culinary path will lead you from the easternmost city in Slovenia Lendava through whole Slovenia, finishing in southwest on Slovenian coast.

Day 1

Pick up at the airport, arrival at hotel Cubis, check in. Accommodation and rest. In the afternoon visit of the tower Vinarium Lendava, where tasting of local wines and juices is waiting for you. The tower Vinarium is with its 53,5 m offering a wonderful 360° view on a colorful landscape, which includes a great view on lowlands and hills of Slovenia, Hungary, Croatia and Austria. The path continues to Kodila, where you will see the ripening of Prekmurje ham and you will taste their specialties. Dinner and return to the hotel and overnight.

Day 2

Breakfast in hotel, check out. Visit of museum and garden – Beekeeping Tigeli, where you will enjoy sweet pampering with tasting honey products. The culinary path will lead you to the estate Dveri-Pax Wine Cellar, where they continue an 800-year tradition of Benedictine winemaking. During the sightseeing you will taste superior quality wines that have won awards from the most respectful international wine evaluations. For an even better culinary experience you will enjoy lunch in restaurant Jareninski Dvor. Beautifully renovated, more than 450-years-old manor house on the Jarenina estate is rich in history, and was renovated for the express purpose of offering wines for sale and for tasting. A beautiful interior, a cultivated environment and a professional kitchen that can prepare the most challenging culinary specialties. After the delicious lunch you will continue to Ptuj, the oldest town in Slovenia. Guided tour through the Ptuj Wine Cellar and tasting excellent wines and Lucifer chocolate. Dinner in traditional Slovenian restaurant. After the dinner, drive towards the hotel MD Kamnik. Check in and overnight.


Day 3

After the breakfast in hotel departure to Velika planina, where you will get acquainted with the shepherd’s tradition there, stroll among interesting pastoral huts, taste traditional cheese and other local delicacies and feel the authenticity of shepherd’s life. Lunch in traditional Slovenian restaurant. Your day will continue to the farm Pr`Vodiškarju. Farmhouse - a museum of our ancestors’ lives, a 500 year old cellar and tasting of organic products. Departure back to the Kamnik, dinner in traditional Slovenian restaurant. After the dinner return back to hotel and overnight.


Day 4

After the breakfast in hotel departure to Bled. Boat ride with Pletna to the Bled island. Sightseeing of the island, degustation in Potičnica (Potica- traditional festive pastry from Slovenia) and don`t forget to make a wish by pulling the wishing bell. Lunch in stunning Bled castle where is obligatory to try the most famous Slovenian dessert – Kremšnita. After the lunch departure to Bohinj where cheese tour is waiting for you. Customized tour on the topic of Bohinj cheese and history of cheese making in Bohinj. Dinner in traditional Slovenian restaurant. After the dinner return back to the hotel and overnight.


Day 5

Breakfast in hotel, check out. Departure to Ljubljana and with cable car up to the Ljubljana castle, sightseeing of the castle and castle wine shop. Lunch in castle restaurant Strelec that offers you an unforgettable culinary experience in the embrace of Castle Tower of Shooters. In the afternoon departure to the wine cellar Goriška Brda. The Klet Brda winery is the leading producer and exporter of Slovenian bottled wine, renowned for its distinctive style and appreciated by wine lovers in Slovenia and 26 countries around the world. The winery unites 400 families, who have been working together for over fifty years and have turned local wine making into a success story. Guided tour through the cellar, tasting of award-winning wines and local snacks. The path continues to the Slovenian coast. Dinner in restaurant Villa Andor, a classic Mediterranean restaurant with a modern touch. After the dinner arrival in hotel Rezidenca Ortus. Check in and overnight.


Day 6

After breakfast at the hotel, the hunt for truffles begins. The truffle hunter and her puppy will open the door to the mysterious world of truffles. Together, you will head into the woods to a hidden corner, where with a touch of good fortune you will search this fragrant tuber between the roots of the trees. After the hunt, you will enjoy typical Istrian pasta fuži with truffles with a glass of wine from a local winemaker. In the afternoon you will go to Dulcis Somnia Tour, which includes a cruise ship excursion: Izola, Portorož, Sečoveljske soline (salt pans), national park Strunjan, Piran salt pans and shell farm. During the ride you will enjoy in tasting local wines, welcome drink and culinary pampering (home-made ham on a stand hand-cut with side dishes, blue grilled fish with side dishes, orange biscuit with home-made fruit sauce, peach wine, digestif - selection of home-made spirits). Beside that a diver’s dive to the wine cellar in the sea and a tasting of submerged sparkling wine. After the ride return back to the hotel and overnight.


Day 7

Breakfast in hotel and departure to Trieste, sightseeing of breathtaking Miramar castle and castle gardens. Its position overlooking the sea, provides the possibility to enjoy a wonderful view. After the castle visit your path will lead you to the vineyards in estate Brič. Guided tour through wine cellar, a tasting of 5 premium wines, homemade delicacies and water from a spring that supposedly has healing power and restores vital energy. Lunch at the estate in the restaurant Brič. In the afternoon exploring Koper, Mediterranean city with a colorful history. During the walk through medieval Koper you get to learn about the city and its stories through its rich cultural heritage. While wandering around, you will stop at four selected locations and try local specialities: Istrian Bakala (fish spread), olive oil, cheese, Istrian wine, ice cream or krostata (pie) and a cup of coffee (or tea). At snacks you will try Malvazija, a typical wine of Istrian winemakers. Adding the tasting of various unique flavors of salt from the Piran salt-pans … and the day is perfect. After the Koper sightseeing you will drive to the top quality restaurant Kamin with the most beautiful culinary views in Izola. After the dinner return to the hotel and overnight.

Breakfast in hotel, check out. Transfer to the airport.
