once upon a time

Imagine finding yourself, once upon a time in the small kingdom of Slovenia. You are a brave prince or princess, our story goes both ways. From this land you are able to reach all the other kingdoms around it (Italy, Austria, Croatia and Hungary) by easy routes and explore their wonderful towns.

In this journey, you will be able to: 

  • Visit 4 countries and 7 cities.

  • Explore Vienna with many baroque streets and imperial palaces.

  • Stroll through the city of Zagreb, which is not only a great destination for coffee and shopping, but it also boasts a bunch of fine parks and gardens.

  • Explore the city of Salzburg, the stage of many festivals and the perfect harmony of nature and architecture. Did we mention it's a birthplace of Mozart?

  • Take a walk through our capital city of Ljubljana, which will enchant you with its sympathetic simplicity and vibrancy.

  • Learn about the rich past and present of historical city of Trieste.

  • Visit Venice, a world famous seaside town that stretches among many small islands and lagoons.

  • Experience the life in different cultures and taste their distinct traditional cuisine.


Day 1

Arrival at the Cubis Hotel in Lendava. Dinner at restaurant, located just few minutes away.

Day 2

Breakfast at the hotel, at 8 am departure to Vienna. Vienna is the capital of Austria. Think of Vienna as a placewhere history and the past coexist with the present. Architecture lovers will find everywhere buildings from different times in history, from Baroque to modern architecture.When we arrive our first stop will be the imperial residence of Schönbrunn, which is considered to be the most visited tourist attraction. A stroll through the beautiful park and an outside tour of the mighty palace that will bring us closer to the life of the Habsburgs. After lunch guided bus tour of the city. We will see the famous Vienna Opera House, the former Hofburg Imperial Palace, Parliament, City Hall, the Stock Exchange. Stefan. Some free time to explore the city on your own. At 6pm dinner, followed by departure towards the hotel Cubis.

Day 3

Breakfast at the hotel, departure at 8am towards Zagreb. Zagreb is a city of contradictions, old and young, relaxed in the morning and mighty European metropolis in the night. We will walk through the streets of Upper and Lower Town, to the famous arcades and sculptures of Mirogoj Park Cemetery, the Cathedral and the lively Dolac Market. The path through the streets of the Upper Town will lead us past the Church of St. Mark, the symbol of Zagreb, and past the viewing point below the Lotrščak tower, from where there is a magnificent view of Zagreb, all the way to the Stone Gate. Lunch at 1pm at the traditional Croatian restaurant. After lunch, free time to explore the city. The city that tourists remember for the charm and hospitality of their locals. At 5pm there departure towards Kamnik. Dinner will be served at the restaurant, located near the hotel.

Day 4

After breakfast we leave the hotel at 8 am heading toward Salzburg. Its is an interesting destination with a lot of cultural heritage. Its is considered one of the most important culturals capitals in the world. The city of Salzburg which literally means salt fort is named after the early salt-making industry.We will take a stroll through the Mirabell Palace and Gardens. After lunch we will visit the Residential Square and the Cathedral Square, and continue our walk past the Monastery of Sv. Peter, the old and new Festival Palace, bustling Getreidegasse with Mozart's birthplace. Possibility to visit the Hohensalzburg Fort, which offers beautiful views of the city. Free time for solo sightseeing and exploring city squares and city streets on your own. After dinner departure towards Kamnik.


Day 5

After breakfast we will visit the capital city Ljubljana. In Ljubljana, the old is lovingly interwined with the new. The city has managed to preserve the traces of all periods of rich history. Its is a city with a soul. We will walk through the old town center and see famous Prešernov Trg, Tromostovje, Shoemaker's Bridge, Congress Square ..., we will take funicular towards Ljubljana Castle, where is a beautiful view over all Ljubljana. At 1 pm lunch at the castle. After lunch, a visit to the City Museum of Ljubljana, which will present the history of Ljubljana, it's important geostrategic position and exceptional events from prehistory to the 20th century. Free afternoon to explore the city. At 7pm dinner and after dinner we will head towards Ankaran.

Day 6

Around 8am, after breakfast, departure to Miramare Castle near Trieste. Followed by a tour of the main town square Piazza dell'unita d'italia, a few streets away from the main square, a Roman theater built here by the ancient Romans. Trieste has been and important trading hub since Roman times and since than it has been the most important route connecting the Balkans with norzhern Italy. After lunch sightseeing of Castello di san giusto Castle, the ports and department stores of Eataly. Free time to explore the city. Dinner around 6 pm. Around 8pm departure to the Ortus Hotel.


Day 7

After breakfast we will head towards Piran from where we will take a ferry towards Venice. Venice is a city where narrow alleys and canals pass past luxurius palaces and magnificent churches, colorful markets and quites canals that have not change over the centuries. Tour of the main sights - Bridge of Sighs, Doge's Palace, Clock Tower, Procuratories, walk to Rialto Bridge, tour of the market. After lunch some time for independent sightseeing and shopping. Dinner at the restaurant, then departure to hotel.

Breakfast and departure.
